Description
A real photograph postcard, Newman Brothers Saloon and Bar, 1248 E. 4th Street, Boyle Heights, California, ca. 1910. The postcard features three men in a bar. The bar features a long wooden counter with a widespace in front. Behind the bar are two men, mirrored wall, shelves of alcohol bottles and a cash register. The bar includes a copper foil ceiling, taxiderm animals and a private booth to the left of the entrance. Several spit bowls are placed at the base of the bare counter. With minor discoloration and abrasions the object is in good condition overall.
