Description
A real photographic postcard of a fire engine, Los Angeles, May 1918. The postcard shows the engine decorated for the floral parade in Los Angeles. The engine is a horse drawn carriage decorated with flowers and greenery with the number twenty three on the side. Seven firefighters stand in front with one at the driver's seat. Visible in the background is a multistory brick building and residence. An electric trolley is between the carriage and buildings. The unused postcard includes a kruxo postage mark on the reverse. The item is in good condition with minor surface soiling.
