Description
A real photographic postcard of a landing plane, Los Angeles, 20 January 1910. An early model of an airplane or glider in midair with one pilot steering, sitting in the middle of the plane. The motorless plane has two fixed wings and also a two leveled tail for steering. It also has two sets of wheels on the bottom for landing. Several people, including one with a tripod and camera are on the ground to the left of an open field. The postcard includes a postage stamp, was mailed to San Francisco. With accretions toward the top left, moderate fading, the postcard is in fair condition.
