Description
A real photographic postcard, oil fire at Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles, ca. 1920. The view is of an oil field with derricks, tanks and other structures and equipment. Above it all is a large plume of black smoke rising to the sky. On the ground a spray of water is trying to put out the fire. The postcard has a ssss postage stamp box on the reverse. The item is in good condition despite the minor discoloration.
