A real photograph postcard, oversized watermelon, 5 June 1912, Los Angeles. An image of a man standing next to an oversized watermelon, taller than the man. The man reaches his hand up to the top and still cannot reach it. The print at the bottom, "This is how watermelons grow in California." The reverse has a pencil inscription and a postage stamp. It was sent to Iowa. The postcard has minor surface soiling but is in good condition.
