Description
A real photographic postcard of The Hotel, Alexander's Studio, Camp Baldy, San Gabriel Mountains, 21-22 May 1920. A view from the circular driveway shows the front, main hotel cabin and an automobile parked in front with several people gathered at the entrance. A smaller, wooden building is on the left. The buildings sit in the valley between two mountains visible in the photograph. There is an ink inscription and a postage stamp commemorating the pilgrim tercentenary with an image of the Mayflower on the reverse. It is in good condition despite the moderate discoloration and minor abrasion.
