Description
A real photographic postcard, "Camp Rincon, Azusa, Cal., J.H. Lamson, Photo," ca. 1900s. There is an office building at Camp Rincon and men who appear to be strapping gear onto the backs of mules and horses. The image was taken by J.H. Lamson who was a known photographer in Portland, Oregon. Lamson came to California during the 1880s for health reasons and remained for a number of years before returning to Oregon. With moderate fading, yellowing, and soiling, the object is in fair condition.
