A real photographic postcard, Harding Court, Monrovia, ca. 1920s. The image shows Monrovia's first bungalow court from the street. Several bungalow residences built along two rows, with one at the center, all facing onto an open courtyard. The houses appear to be identical in style. There are mountains in the background. The postcard is printed with information about the court, as advertisements, on the reverse. The housing complex was advertised as a refuge for people suffering from tuberculosis. The postcard is in fair condition with moderate insect damage on the reverse and discoloration.
