Description
A real photographic postcard, "No. 1516 Castle La Crescenta," postmarked 21 December 1908. The view is from the bottom of a hill and, perhaps a half-mile or so away, is a structure, largely obscured by trees, but which has a prominent tower at the right. Portions of La Crescenta Valley and the San Gabriel Mountains are also of note. The title is at the bottom. On the reverse is a message from a visitor to the valley who included a Christmas message to the Boston recipient. With some abrasions, residue on the reverse, soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
