Description
A real photographic postcard, Camp Rincon, Azusa, San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1920s. The areial view shows Camp Rincon buildings and several cabins surrounded by trees. There is a paved road toward the top of the image. The mountain resort was once located south of the San Gabriel river's west and north forks. Resort offerings included a four-horse stage transportation for its visitors from the Azusa depot to the site, swimming pool, on-site cabin rentals and a general store. With darkening of the image, and minor abrasions, it is in good condition overall.
