Description
A real photographic postcard of Mt. Wilson Observatory and the solar tower telescope, San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1920s. There appears to be an entrance with a wooden railing on the right and on the left a structure also made of wood. At the center is possibly a public building with a stone chimney, clapboard siding and an enclosed outer porch area surrounded by pine trees. On the far right are two men standing in front of a couple of vehicles with an identifying sign that reads "Mt. Wilson" There is the solar tower telescope on the far right of the image. With minor discoloration, the object is in good condition.
