Description
A real photographic postcard of the Arroyo Seco Bridge or Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, ca. 1910s. The elevated view shows the bridge from one end, the Beaux Arts arches, street lamps, and a curve in the street bridge are visible. In the background, several large houses built on the hilltops can be seen. On the bridge, several automobiles have stopped on the curb of the street along with several pedestrians walking on the sidewalk overlooking the scenery below. The bridge is identified on the reverse in a pencil inscription. The postcard includes an azo postage stamp box. The postcard has minor surface soiling, discoloration, and silvering but is in good condition.
