Description
A real photo postcard, "Party at 204 W. 51st St., Los Angeles, Cal.," 1 January 1909. The image shows a Craftsman-style bungalow with a projecting entrance and porch at the left. Gathered on the porch and steps is a group of about twenty persons. A small tree and a new sago palm at the lower right seem to indicate a relatively recent construction of the residence. The title is an ink inscription at the upper left and appears to reference a Christmas party at the house. With light fading, edge wear, and some soiling, the condition is overall good.
