Description
A real photographic postcard, "Inglewood Cal., High School," ca. 1900s. The three-story structure has a large staircase rising to the entrance at the center of the second floor and a flagpole rises from the roof above this. The words "Union High School" are in raised letters on the cornice over the entrance. Lawns, walks and sago palms are among the elements of the landscape and there is a low wire fence enclosing the site, which was opened in 1905. The AZO 4-triangle stamp box indicates a date range of 1904-18. With minor soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.
