Description
A receipt from B.A. Whalen to Walter P. Temple, 2 January 1925. The item lists the sale of majolica tableware, door buttons, a candlestick, a coat of arms and 190 tiles, as well as a half-dozen tile panels for La Casa Nueva. Bernard A. Whalen, whose store was on Western Avenue south of Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, later ran a curio shop on Olvera Street. An earlier receipt is item .145. With folds, a few very small stains, creases and light soiling, the condition is good.
