Description
A record of a real estate agreement between A. Pascoe and Grover T. Russell. 12 June 1916. Handwritten text near the bottom of the page designates this document as a copy; another version of this record with spelling corrections and a signature is present in the collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1120). The record shows that Mr. Russell received $100 from Mr. Pascoe as part payment on a 15 acre property at the south west corner of lot 2, which belongs to Fidel Amar. Mr. Pascoe will purchase the property for $250 per acre if the stipulations of this document are met. Mr. Russell agrees to return Mr. Pascoe's initial payment if he is in unable to find enough buyers to purchase 100 acres of Mr. Amar's land at $250 per acre, if Mr. Amar does not accept the deal, or if he is unable to secure the right of way for a new road. The terms of sale are summarized at the end of this document. With wear, pin holes, pencil markings, ink stains, minor tears, minor acid burns, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
