Description

A record of a real estate agreement between J.L. Willhite and an unknown party. 15 June 1916. A two page, typed document. This document appears to be a copy or draft of another record in the collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1122). The record shows that an unknown party received $100 from Mr. Willhite as part payment on a 10 acre property near Puente which belongs to Fidel Amar. Mr. Willhite will purchase the property at $250 per acre if the stipulations of this document are met. The unknown party agrees that he will return Mr. Willhite's initial payment if he is unable to secure enough buyers to purchase 100 acres of Mr. Amar's property at $250 per acre, if Mr. Amar does not accept the deal, or if he is unable to secure the right of way for a new road. The terms of sale are summarized in the last paragraph. With rust stains, pin holes, moderate foxing, a tear, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
