Description
A record of a real estate agreement between Mrs. W.H. Johnson and Grover T. Russell. 28 June 1916. The record shows that Mr. Russell received $100 from Mrs. Johnson as part payment on a 6.354 acre property in lot 2, which belongs to Fidel Amar. Mrs. Johnson will purchase the property for $250 per acre as long as the stipulations of this document are met. Mr. Russell agrees to return Mrs. Johnson's initial payment if he is in unable to find enough buyers to purchase 100 acres of Mr. Amar's land at $250 per acre or if Mr. Amar does not accept the deal. The record contains a summary of the terms of sale. Mr. Russell agrees that a joint pipe line will be created so that all purchasers can acquire water on an equal basis. Mr. Russell's signature and a handwritten note from Mrs. Johnson regarding the return of the $100 payment are present at the bottom of the document. With creases, holes, minor foxing, minor acid burns, tears, two folds, and a small piece missing, the object is in good condition overall.
