Description
A reprint photograph of a car from the Main Street and Agricultural Park Railway, April 1897, C. C. Pierce & Co. The photo shows a conductor at the reins of the one-horse drawn car which has open sides that could be closed with drapes. The car is stopped at Jefferson and Royal streets just north of the University of Southern California and some trees and part of a house are behind the car. Ink and pencils inscription and the Pierce and Security-First National Bank of Los Angeles stamps are on the reverse. With warping of the paper, some staining at the bottom and light soiling, creasing and abrasions, the condition is good.
