Description

A reward broadside for a stolen automobile, Los Angeles, stamped 12 February 1914. The item lists the type of car and gives specific details about it, notes where and when the vehicle was stolen (namely, on 19 January in front of the Alexandria Hotel), and offers separate $50 rewards for recovery of the conveyance and for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators. Information was to be sent to an insurance firm and a man presumed to be the owner. With stamps, pencil markings, a major tear at the lower right, folds, a significant crease, soiling and markins from being glued to an album, the condition is poor overall.
