A reward notice from Santa Monica, 18 August 1888. The printed notice on a postal card gives a detailed description of Fred W. Tietjen, who was wanted for embezzlement, including his appearance, habits and likely occupation sought elsewhere. The card is from constable M. K. Barretto, the date is handwritten at the bottom, and it is addressed to the San Diego police chief, then Joseph Coyne. As trimmed, with glue stains and other soiling, the condition is fair overall.
