Description

A reward poster for Harry Dunlap by Los Angeles County Sheriff William Traeger, 5 January 1924. The item advertises a $250 reward for information leading to the wanted man's arrest on charges of murder, rape and robbery. There are booking photos, a description of physical charactertistics, his fingerprint classification, and a statement describing him as the "Foot-hill bandit," who terrorized people in "automobile parties." He was also said to be a drug addict and armed. Dunlap was later captured in Detroit and convicted in Los Angees of crimes that landed him multiple life sentences. With a small tear at the end of a fold, a small hole at the top right, creases, and light soiling, the overall condition is good.
