A ribbon titled "Bells on San Gabriel," 1898. The two-piece item has an image of the mission belfry and the title on one portion and a short poem reading "Those evening Bells! Those evening Bells! How many a tale their music tells" and the date on the other. It appears the item was hand-lettered and drawn, but it is not known if this was a souvenir sold at a shop or made by a visitor. With much folding, heavy creasing, fraying and some soiling, the condition is fair.
