A roofing company crew at a Los Angeles job site, ca. 1920s. A man in a suit, hat and full-length coat stands on a board leading up to a partially-completed porch. Around him are eight men in work clothes. Two men, at right, are black and the others are white. Wood boards and other construction materials lie about the site and there is a nailed sign that seems to read "Los Angeles Roofing Company," though it is very light. With edge rubbing and abrasions and very light soiling, the condition is good.
