Description
A cabinerow of young women, probably the queen and princesses of the Fiesta de Las Flores, Los Angeles, C. H. Shaffner, 1890s. The eighteen young ladies stand on a sidewalk in what appears to be a park or yard, in which there are lawns, flowers, trees and bushes and shrubs. The girls wear a variety of clothing items, but all have decorative necklaces that look like leaves and most or all have floral decorations on their skirts. The photo was part of a "Fiesta Floral Series." With small tears on the photo edges, as well as matte rubbing, fading, soiling and stains, the overall condition is fair.
