Description
A Scoutmaster certificate, Boy Scouts of America, Los Angeles, 18 December 1928. The item has a border with tenets of the organization and the motto "Be Prepared" at the top. The Los Angeles District Council certified Guy Reide for completion of the course required for the status received and there are signatures of a variety of scouting officials, including President Calvin Coolidge. With heavy soiling, a hole at the top right and browning, the condition is fair.
