Description
A Sells-Floto Circus parade carriage, Los Angeles, 1914. The view is a closeup taken from the street in which the vehicle was riding during an unspecified parade. The conveyance is pulled by an animal that does not appear to be a horse and has two persons in costume, a male driver and a female passenger riding under an umbrella. Portions of structures are in the background and there is an ink inscription identifying the carriage on the front margins as well as similar ink and pencil inscriptions on the reverse. With small stains and soiling on the reverse and minor edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
