Description
A real photo postcard of an oil fire, Long Beach, California. 17 November 1921. A Shell-Martin oil geyser bellows up with a plume of smoke. Men are gathered around with water hoses going to the oil fire. There are cars on the side of the geyser, pipes and an oil tank. There are other derricks and electric poles in the background. With abrasion on all edges, warping, discoloration and soiling, the object is in good condition overall.
