Description

A silk vest, ca. 1860s. The vest is made of a cream color silk with a five button structure, two waist pockets and one breast pocket on the right. The interior is a cotton lining. On the back of the vest are ties with a brass colored buckle. Though it is not certain, the vest may have belonged to William H. Workman. With three missing buttons, stains, and tears, it is in fair condition.
