Description
A snapshot of a beach area and theme park, possibly Ocean Park, ca. 1910s. The image appears to be taken from a pier and looks over the water toward the shore. A theme park ride, structures, beachgoers, and a building in construction are among notable items in view. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads "Playa del Rey," but this seems more likely to the north at Venice, Ocean Park or Santa Monica. With album paper residue on the reverse and minor soiling and abrasion along the edges, moderate warping, the condition is good to fair overall.
