Description

A snapshot of a bungalow house in Huntington Park, California, ca. 1920s. The one-story house is on a corner lot and has a covered projecting porch about half the length of the house. There is a thick column which appears to be supporting part of the over hang of the low-pitched gabled roofs. Also visible are brackets and a front facade with square cutouts. There are two large casement windows flank the door. A lawn, front walk, bushes and shrubs and some trees on the left side constitute the landscape. Part of a large two-story Craftsman house is at the right. On the reverse in a Sharpie-like ink is "house Huntington / Park LA" and is likely a recent inscription. With portions of mounting corners at the top corners, moderate warping, but and minor soiling and abrasion evident, the condition is good.
