Description
A snapshot of a Chinese woman and a white woman in Chinese regalia, Los Angeles, ca. 1922. The image shows the two wearing traditional Chinese clothing, probably silk, including embroidered jackets, long trousers and slippers. Each also wear decorative pieces in their hair at the ears. The two may have been in the Chinatown where Union Station now stands, as they are in front of a brick building with Chinese handbills on a board on the wall. With album paper residue on the reverse and mild edge rubbing, the condition is good overall.
