Description
A snapshot of a crashed car, Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, 8 June 1924. The vehicle is at the curb with the right front wheel bent inwards and a pole at the median bent. Portions of houses and a commercial building are of note. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads, "Boyle & Stephenson Aves, June 8, 1924." Stephenson is now Whittier Boulevard, so the site is in southwest Boyle Heights and the commercial building at the northeast corner still stands. With warping and edge denting at the lower right, the condition is good.
