Description
A snapshot of a destroyed automobile on Telegraph Road, Los Angeles County, 7 September 1924. The view shows the mangled automobile lying in a cleared area to the side of the highway, which appears to be at the right. In front of the car is a smashed billboard. On the reverse, along with a stamp from the finisher, is a pencil inscription, "Telegraph Road, Sept 7, 1924 / Foggy Morning; Machine Rolled Over thry Barb / Wire Fence, and Knocked Down Small Billboard." With heavy warping, yellowing, and some creasing, it is in fair condition.
