Description
A snapshot of a film shoot aboard a barge, Los Angeles area, ca. 1920s. Labeled in pencil on the reverse as "No. 2," the view shows a cinematographer on a deck at lower right training the camera toward a two-story set on the barge in shallow water near a sandy area with bystanders on it. Five persons are on the barge, three at the upper left second floor and two on the lower right first level. The third photo in this accession identifies "star" Katherine William[s} and the film as "His Neighbor" but no information has been found about this movie, though a Katherine Williams (1908-1992) was in films in the early 1930s. With some soiling and edge abrasions, the general condition is good.
