Description
A snapshot of a group having a picnic on the sand at Long Beach, ca. 1907. The view shows perhaps a dozen or so people wearing suits, dresses and hats seated on a long wooden picnic bench on the sand beneath a structure elevated on stilts. In the bakground is a pier and building. At the lower left in pencil is "Long Beach" and the photo is pasted down onto black album paper. With minor silvering, warping and soiling, the condition is good overall.
