Description
A snapshot of a group in the snow at "Los Angeles National Park," 1926. The seven person group pose on a forested hillside that has a large patch of snow. At the bottom in ink is "1926" and on the reverse is "Taken in Los Angeles National Park / 1926. On trip to Kramer Gold mine." Presumably, the image was taken in the Angeles National Forest. The Kramer mining rush started in January 1926 and appears to have been in the Mojave Desert near Panamint. With some staining on the reverse, minor soiling and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
