Description
A snapshot of a group playing in the snow at "Los Angeles National Park," 1926. The seven person group are posed on a forested hillside that has a large patch of snow. One man holds a block of snow on the head of a woman at the center while another man has a smaller chunk over the head of another man in the back. At the bottom in ink is "1926" and on the reverse is "1926. Los Angeles National Park / Trip to Kramer." Presumably, the image was taken in the Angeles National Forest. The Kramer mining rush started in January 1926 and appears to have been in the Mojave Desert near Panamint. With some staining on the reverse, very minor soiling and abrasions, warping, the overall condition is good.
