Description
A snapshot of a hunter with his quarry, Bouquet Canyon, Los Angeles County, 1926. The man sits on the rubbing board of a sedan and holds a shotgun in his left hand with the butt on the ground and, in his right hand, he holds at least two dead rabbits. Some chapparal-covered hillsides are in the background. At the bottom margin in pencil is "Bouquet Canyon 1926." The photo is mounted to a piece of album page, with part of a photo of a thatched tent at Coronado on it. With minimal soiling and rubbing, but moderate yellowing to the image, the overall condition is good.
