Description
A snapshot of a Los Angeles County lifeguard and a woman, ca. 1920s. The guard, wearing a bathing suit with the name "L.A. County / Guard" on the front, and his companion, who wears a long-sleeved shirt, bathing suit and heels, are leaning against a truck with lettering indicating it is an official county lifeguard vehicle. In the background are some structures and, presumably, the truck is parked on the coast side of a street, With some soiling, edge abrasions and a tape-repaired tear of about two inches at the left, the condition is fair.
