Description
A snapshot of a man in a canoe, Venice, California, ca. 1910s. The image, pasted down onto black album paper, shows the solo rower at the back of the craft holding an oar that is in the water. At upper right is part of a building that has the letters "ROW . . ." on the roof. To the left is a Spanish Colonial Revival structure and another building across the expansive canal or marina at the seaside community. With minor soiling and warping to the album paper, the condition is good overall.
