Description

A snapshot of a man sitting on a Griffith Company grading machine, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The individual, identified as "Dad" with a pen inscription at the bottom, sits at the wheel of the machine, which was made by the Austin Manufacturing Company, the name of which, along with a separate Griffith sign, is on a saddlebag at the back of the machine. The man looks back and smiles at the camera. The grading machine is parkerd on a roadbed with gravel in view. With photo album residue on the back, some soiling and light stains, the overall condition is good.
