Description
A snapshot of an entrance to a building at Los Angeles City College, 1929. The view is taken from a lawn a short distance away and takes in the ornamented rectangular opeing, the open doors, and a leaded window to the right. Opened in 1914 when the state Normal School moved from downtown Los Angeles, the site became the first campus of U.C.L.A. before becoming, in September 1929, Los Angeles City College. With album paper residue on the reverse, warping and light soiling, the overall condition is good.
