Description
A snapshot of a portion of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, ca. 1915. The image shows the water course of the aqueduct descending from the mountains toward the plains below. The photographer stood along the roadside, parallel to which is a railroad track. On the reverse is an ink inscription, "Water reservoir for / Los Angeles on way / to Santa Barbara." With minor soiling and moderate warping, the condition is good overall.
