Description
A snapshot of a streetcar at Broadway and 1st Street, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. Taken from one side of the street and from what appears to be underneath an awning or covered area of a building, the view shows the trolley stopped at a station marked by two pylons. Portions of buildings behind the car are in view and more of Broadway is in the distance at right, but the photo is blurry. "Third Avenue" can be discerned on the bottom of the side of the car and it looks like the building behind the vehicle at right is a theater. On the reverse in pencil is the location. With a small part of the upper right corner missing, a few creases, some moderate soiling, and edge abrasion, the overall condition is good.
