Description
A snapshot of a woman and man cooking at a stove, Los Angeles, ca. 1910. The woman stands to the left, wearing a plaid dress and long apron, holding a spatula, tending to a pan on the stove. The man is on the right with his hand on a tea kettle. At the center is the ornately embellished wood stove produced by E. J. Brent in Los Angeles. The stove has a chimney extending directly above it. There is a pencil inscription on the reverse. The photograph was previously pasted into an album. With moderate silvering throughout and a hard crease at bottom left, it is in fair condition.
