Description
A snapshot of an open-mouthed ostrich in a pen, Los Angeles Ostrich Farm, Lincoln Heights, 11 August 1924. The ostrich has its mouth opening as if squaking and it stands next to a fence at one side of the pen. In adjacent pens are other animals, wile trees and some tall poles are in the background. The farm name and date are inscribed in pencil on the reverse. With minor soiling, abrasions, and moderate warping, the condition is good overall.
