2013.341.1.1Description
A snapshot of Memorial Baptist Church, Los Angeles, 19 September 1926. Taken from across and down the street, the image shows the entire roof and, presumably, a significant portion of the interior is destroyed, evidently by a fire, while most of the lower portion of the exterior walls are intact. At the far right a sign indicates the church's office in a one-story commercial structure. Just left of the church is a small wooden real estate office and some billboards are also of note. On the reverse is a pencil inscription, "Memorial Baptist Church, Sept 19, 1926." With moderate warping, minor soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.Lexicon
