Description
A snapshot of part of the ruins of the chapel and the belfry at Mission San Juan Capistrano, ca. 1920s. The view is taken from the southeast portion of the property and takes in a significant amount of the chapel, which was destroyed by earthquake in 1812, at the right. To the left is the belfry with its four arched openings. Further left is the structure where the bookstore and Serra Chapel are. The overall condition is good despite the minor abrasions along the edges and some soiling.
