Description
A snapshot of the Edward L. Doheny Mansion, Los Angeles, 15 June 1924. The view is from the front garden which has many palm trees, a lawn and shrubs and bushes. Much of the front elevation of the eclectically-styled house is in view, including the ornate front entrance with a wrought-iron gate. The house, built by Oliver Posey in 1899 and then owned by Doheny from 1901, is now part of Mount St. Mary's College.There is an identifying ink inscription on the reverse. With some mounting corner residue at the right corners and minor soiling, the condition is good.
